David has 20+years of leadership experience with healthcare sales and marketing organizations, focusing on product-to-market strategies, sales, network expansion and business development. At athenahealth, inc., he built the company’s sales channel with health system affiliate physicians and played a key role in turning around sales of the Epocrates mobile messaging product. He started his career in healthcare as a Partner with the Monitor Group consultancy (now Monitor Deloitte), working on sales strategy and tactical implementation with Merck & Co. He is known as a healthcare and life sciences thought leader, having appeared in national and specialty publications, and participated in numerous conferences as a speaker and panelist.
